GAMMA CHIMICA is a leading chemical products distributor in the Italian market. Since 1980, we have patiently and professionally developed our operations, year after year expanding our fields of expertise, number of clients, suppliers and products.
We now cover the entire national territory and our turnover, constantly growing, clearly illustrates the success of our operations. In 2016 we achieved a turnover of €168 million. The expected turnover for 2017 is still growing and expected to exceed €175 million. The warehouses with which we operate, with their storage capacity of over 3000 tonnes in tanks, including 400 heated cisterns and 52.000 m2 of floorspace, are one of our strong points. Our logistics allows for quick deliveries and precise service. Our high level of specialisation and skill has also allowed us to produce antifreeze liquids using our own formula: our “ECOGEL” line, which has been popular for years with our customers. Our passion for our work and the high-quality level we have reached, certified for more than 15 years, are the purpose for our operations and the certainty of a reliable partner for our customers.

GAMMA CHIMICA is a company that has been active in the Italian market since 1980 and that has always pursued a publicly declared policy of quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety. This policy is based on, in addition to full compliance with prevailing standards and legislation, maintaining and continuously improving a documented management system appropriate for the GAMMA CHIMICA organisation and in conformity with the certification standards obtained by the company, namely ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Gamma Chimica is also committed to constant and full customer satisfaction, supplying high quality products that make their efforts reliable and certain. This is why Gamma Chimica is also ESAD II certified (for distribution in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, etc. sector), is a member of RSPO for sustainable palm oil (RSPO - “Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil”) and has also decided to adopt and implement the principles, criteria and guidelines of the HACCP system and the GMP+ standard (introduced in Europe by Reg. 183/2005/EC and Reg. 2023/2006/EC).
Warehouse
GAMMA CHIMICA has a warehouse located in Castelnovetto (PV) that covers 52000 m2 of floorspace, including 16000 m2 indoors
The capacity of our tanks is about 3000 tonnes, including 400 tonnes heated and we have an 800 m2 HACCP storage area.
Laboratory
The GAMMA CHIMICA instrument laboratory has the following equipment:
- instrument (Karl Fisher Titrino 870) to check the water content in the liquid products marketed /li>
- instrument (Titrino Plus 848) for amine or acid checks
- instrument (GC Agilent 7820A) gas chromatograph with FID detector used to check the purity of the various products or their composition
- instrument (Lovibond PFX 995 colorimeter) to check the colour index.
