Founded in 1980 in Lainate (Milan) by Giuseppe Mearini, Gamma Chimica has grown over the years to become a key reference in the distribution of chemical products in Italy.
Since 2025, the company has been fully owned by the Stockmeier Group, strengthening our position in both the Italian and European markets and providing customers with an even broader and more qualified product portfolio.
With more than 3,000 customers served and around 2,000 raw materials distributed, Gamma Chimica combines over forty years of experience with the solid foundation and international vision of Stockmeier.
The Stockmeier Group, with more than 1,800 employees and over 50 sites worldwide, is synonymous with reliability and innovation in the distribution, production, and services related to chemicals. The integration with Gamma Chimica allows us to offer the Italian market not only a reliable and competent service, but also solutions aligned with the sustainability and quality standards that drive both companies.

Gamma Chimica is a company that has been present on the Italian market since 1980 and has always pursued a publicly declared policy of Quality, Environmental Protection and Safety and Health in the workplace;
this Policy, in addition to the complete compliance with the regulations and legislation in force, is based on the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a documented Management System, appropriate to the reality of the Chemical Range and compliant with the standards, to which the company is certified, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001.
In addition, Gamma Chimica is committed to obtaining the continuous and full satisfaction of its customers by providing high quality products that make its commitment reliable and safe. For this reason, Gamma Chimica also has the ESAD II certification (for distribution in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, etc. sectors), is a member of the RSPO for sustainable palm oil (RSPO – Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil)” and Gamma Chimica is also certified according to the GMP+ Standard (introduced in Europe by Reg. 183/2005/EC and Reg. 2023/2006/EC) and adheres to the guidelines of the HACCP system (introduced in Europe by Reg. 183/2005/EC and Reg. 2023/2006/EC).
Clean Room
Clean Room
In the Gamma Chimica warehouse in Castelnovetto (PV) our Clean Room is active, a clean room conceived, designed and built to meet the needs of Purity, Quality and Safety control for products in regulated sectors such as food and Pharmaceutical. It is possible for us, through dedicated keg and storage lines in controlled conditions, to guarantee the supply of products that comply with the standards of the Feed, Food, Pharma and Cosmetics. The close collaboration with qualified suppliers, the attention to packaging and to the entire chain from producer to customer, allow us to distribute the bulk and keg product in full compliance with the ISO 9001, HACCO, GDP, GMP and GMP+ regulatory requirements. I prodotti per i quali si utilizza la Camera Bianca sono il Glicole propilenico USP/EP e la Glicerina 99.8% PF. Gli imballi utilizzati sono IBC in HDPE opaco approvato per alimenti, su bancali di plastica, protetti con film durante il trasporto e lo stoccaggio e fusti di metallo “Sized” con rivestimento interno in resina epossidica approvata per il contatto alimentare anch’essi protetti con film per escludere la possibile contaminazione ambientale.

Laboratory
The Gamma Chimica instrumental laboratory is equipped with the following equipment:
- Karl Fisher Titrino 870 for the control of water content in marketed liquid products
- Titrino Plus 848 for the control of amines or acids
- GC Agilent 7820A gas chromatograph equipped with FID detector used to verify the purity of various products or their composition
- Lovibond PFX 995 colorimeter for checking the color index.
The laboratory, which is constantly evolving, is also equipped with normal instrumentation (thermometers, density meters, pH meters, balances) for technical controls.
